Project description

Overall strategic goal – To bring together target groups from Romania-Bulgaria cross-border region to participate in the joint development of a cooperative area, using its human, natural and environmental resources and advantages in a sustainable way.

The proposal brings together targeted stakeholders from the cross-border business, research sectors and local administration along the Danube and works to establish cooperation among them. Through joint seminars and caravans, the project improves their capacity and awareness on accessible technological innovations. It streamlines the information exchange between business and researchers and enhances their networking.

The project focuses on the promotion of environmentally friendly innovations, it assists the cross-border business and research sectors to apply technologies that will use the natural resources in a sustainable way.

The proposal empowers the target groups to undertake joint, cooperative efforts, which will impact the mid-long-term sustainable growth of the entire area and will promote the whole Danube region as a region of innovations and technological transfers.
