Project description

MAIN OBJECTIVE:

Danube Ruralscapes aims to give a solution to the lack of institutional and professional capacities of rural villages regarding the regulation and management of the architectural, heritage and landscape resources in their territories. 6 pilot areas will gain Architecture and Rural Landscape Identity Guides as a tool and institutional capacity building as a professional support by project partners who will

develop these into solutions to be integrated into regional and national policies.

 

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

  1. A model for developing sustainable Ruralscapes in the Danube Region
  2. A governance structure for village communities in alliance with regional and professional networks
  3. Architecture and Rural Landscape Identity Guides for sustainable and heritage-based Ruralscapes
