The XIVth Festival of the Ancient Heritage "Eagle on the Danube" started today with a symposium on "The ancient heritage and its preservation in Bulgaria", where the "Roman frontier" route was presented. The hosts of the "D. A. Tsenov" Academy of Economics awarded ADRM "Danube" with the special honorary sign of the Academy in recognition of the excellent cooperation with the first Regional Association of Local Authorities in Bulgaria. The event continued with a public lecture by one of the most popular historians and archaeologists, Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov.

Over the next two days of the "Eagle on the Danube" Festival, visitors could get acquainted with and receive promotional materials on the "Roman frontier within the cross-border region Romania-Bulgaria": a trilingual catalog, a brochure, an information film. The project was implemented by ADRM "Danube", together with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture - Constanta (Romania) and financed under the Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Cross-Border Program 2014-2020.
