Public event - Danube

The 7th European Summit of Regions and Cities - an event that takes place under the Slovak Presidency of the European Union, will be held on July 8th and 9th in the city of Bratislava, Slovakia. 2016 is also the year of the Slovak Presidency of the Danube Strategy.

In this regard, in the period 8-9 July 2016 a so called "Public event", dedicated to the Danube River, will be held.

The key theme of the event is water, water-related innovations and water protection. The objectives of the event include: presentation of the tourist potential of the Danube region and presentation of water-related innovations.
