40 years - Town of Bregovo

An anniversary celebration will be held on Sep 09^th 2014 in the hall of the CC (Community Center) “Progress” at 10:00 a.m. with a formal sitting of the Municipal Council - Bregovo.

The people of Bregovo await guests from the area and the country.

Residents of the town and the municipality will hear a speech for the development of Bregovo as a town since 1974 until today by Dipl. Eng. Milcho Lalov – the Mayor of the Municipality of Bregovo who is having his 4^th term as the mayor of the municipality. Honorary diplomas and signs will be awarded to 48 managers and specialists who have contributed to the development of Bregovo as a town, to seven of them posthumously.

The attendees will have the opportunity to see and a concert program featuring Ensemble “Timok” and CC (Center for Children). After the completion of the official part of the celebration, participants will lay down flowers in front of the four monument in the center of town. The holiday of the people of Bregovo, regarding 40 years of Bregovo becoming a town, will continue with a meal featuring over 500 residents of the town and the municipality.
