Meeting of representatives of ADRM “Danube” with directors from the global company ARUP

A meeting of the ADRM’s Executive Director Maria Tzankova with Mr. Monaghan and Mr. O’Keeffe of the European Office in Dublin of the global firm ARUP was held on July 10th, 2014. ARUP is a company with world reputation for buildings and infrastructure design, and in the areas of management consulting and planning. Ms Tzankova presented the Association and its objectives as well as the Danube region potential for development and key areas of investment of public and private organizations. The member-municipalities of Alfatar, Vidin, Dolna Mitropoliya, Knezha and Pleven presented priority projects in their development plans. D-r Naydenov, Mayor of Municipality of Silistra, and Mr. Karapchanski, Deputy Mayor of Ruse, also discussed the potential for investment in their municipalities. This is to be continued and the participants in the meeting expect collaboration between ADRM and ARUP in the near future.
